Every Company in America during their existence eventually gets caught doing wrong. It’s part of doing business in America. Abroad, We have corrupted Governments and we don’t. Unfortunately, AON was caught with their pants down just like MM. No Company is impermeable to corruption.

All those that pointed a figure at Mr. Ryan should look in the mirror first and remember when you run a RED Light, cheated on your TAXES, cheated on your spouse, cheated your friends by drinking more beer to make up for the money you gave to buy the beer. Failed to tip the waitress. This is not a perfect world. We just have to live and go on with our life.

AON has given you a job and if you don’t work for AON you have no right to blemish the Company. Good Luck to all that live in glass houses.

A disgrace-I have articles, early on in Spitzer’s investigation, wherein Pat Ryan in his own pompous manner says AON did nothing wrong and time will tell the truth.
He should resign now- he should personally be fined, well, lets keep it reasonable, $1,000,000. This “cop out” of an agreement with the states AGs, saves him from doing time. And they put Martha Stewart away!
    What a joke.

Ryan should be fired, and forced to pay back some of that money. He is a dumbass, even his employees think so. I cannot understand how a man so despised still has his job.

typical pay your way out of getting caught with your pants down, now how many AON employees will be let go, while Ryan moves to retirement in Boca Raton or Palm Springs, not bad for a guy who’s dad sold cars

” I cannot understand how a man so despised still has his job.”

Because he founded the company, and is chairman of the board.

I disagree with the statement posted by GOD earlier about not criticizing Aon if we do not work there. In fact, those of us who do not work there should be MORE critical of the likes of Aon and MM. Their actions will effect the way the rest of us who try and do the right thing everyday do business in the future and I am pretty damn mad about it.GOD could not be more wrong.

Being a Combined Insurance Agent with 7th Essential Division I can say that the culture that W. Clement Stone worked so hard to establish is no longer there. It is not surprising to see how the prevalent \”smoke and mirrors\” tactics to make easy and quick money are valued and implemented at the highest levels of AON.

The lip service paid to \”ethics\” and \”Doing the Right Thing Because It Is The Right Thing To Do\” is pathetic. A not so well known fact is that the agent turnover at Combined is horrific to a large extent because of the lying and un-ethical practices of many top executives right down a large number of mid level executives and managers.

A visit to http://www.ripoffreport.com and a search under Combined Insurance or AON will reveal the extent of the corruption and abuse this company engages in on a daily basis.

I\’m currently job searching for a reputable and ethical company. What you\’ve seen Mr. Ryan and his cohorts pull off is only the tip of the iceberg. There is a lot more happening \”below the water line\”.
