American Wholesale Insurance Group (AmWINS) has hired veteran Andrew Pritchard to lead the efforts of AmWINS’ Financial Risk Specialist Team (FIRST) in pioneering innovative insurance solutions for the global Asset Management industry, including but not limited to, Hedge Fund, Investment Advisers, Private Equity, Mutual Fund and Family Office Firms.
FIRST, a unit of AmWINS Brokerage organized in late 2004, was formed to deliver a new level of expertise on professional and management liability insurance products and services for directors, officers, professionals and employees across a broad spectrum of public, private and not-for-profit commercial and financial services industry sectors .
FIRST now offers a nationwide team of underwriting and broking experts with core competencies in several areas, such as Directors & Officers Liability (D&O), Professional Liability (E&O), General Partner Liability (GPL), Mergers & Acquisitions Liability, Employment Practices Liability (EPL), Fiduciary Liability, Crime & Fidelity Insurance, Kidnap / Ransom & Extortion (K&R), Cyber Liability, Medical Malpractice and Lawyers Professional Liability .
