This article makes the user think they can actually participate in an auction – but its just a screenshot of a mock auction.

Deplorable. I am cancelling my Progressive contract first thing Monday.

I hope you’re joking. While I agree that I thought users could participate in the auction, I think that was a forgivable miscommunication, ESPECIALLY given that this IS April Fools’ Day.

Personally, I found it funny! I like a healthy sense of humor being used in such a serious business as insurance.

I agree with Eduardo. Very poor indeed. Progressive will be losing my business as well.

Are they saying the UFO insurance was bogus? I’ll be cancelling my coverage and moving by book.

What if Progressive paid the prevailing rates and did not steer Auto Body repairs into the cheapest shop in town.
But paid a fair price for repairs..
Wouldn’t that be amzing and ethical to. Old policy old dirty tricks.
