Willis Names Kolojay as SVP at Captive and Actuarial Practice

Willis Group Holdings has appointed Tim Kolojay as senior vice president within the Captive and Actuarial Practice based in Burlington, Vt.

Kolojay joins from Insurance Industry Consultants, LLC in Atlanta, Ga., where he served as president. During his tenure, he was responsible for management and operations of the consulting practice including profit and loss, growing the practice, researching joint ventures, and managing a team of 15 professionals and administrators. Prior to joining IIC, he served as senior vice president with E.W. Blanch Holdings (now Benfield-Blanch) in Boston, Mass. While there, Kolojay served as advisor to the senior management staff of Insurance Holdings of America, consulted with over 75 insurance companies and investment bankers, and contributed in raising $108 million in venture capital funds.

In his new position, Kolojay is charged with increasing the revenue base of Captive Management and Actuarial Services (CAPS) through business development for each of the individual CAPS units. He will
also be responsible for recruiting talented individuals and teams, assisting producers with organic growth tools, and establishing relationships with retail brokers, working to provide assistance on alternative market and actuarial solutions.
