The environmental insurance program of Hudson Programs, an operating division of Hudson Insurance Group in New York, is now available in 49 states, plus the District of Columbia.
The program includes coverage for all sizes of environmental engineers, consultants and contractors, above ground and underground storage tanks, as well as site pollution coverage for a wide variety of facilities.
The program is exclusively underwritten by Denver-based Freberg Environmental, Inc. (FEI), with claims administration for the program handled by Murdoch Claim Management Company of Windsor, Conn.
The program is largely written on a non-admitted basis. Admitted capability is currently limited to New York and New Jersey. The program is currently unavailable in the state of Connecticut.
The program features commercial general liability, contractor pollution liability, professional liability and first and third party pollution liability with limits up to $10,000,000. The minimum premiums generally start at $3,000, $750 for tank business. Site pollution terms are available up to 10 years.
