Lexington Enhances Online Risk Management Tools for Employers

Lexington Insurance Company, a member company of American International Group Inc. has expanded its online training capabilities at: www.lexeplhelp.com for customers carrying employment practices liability (EPL) insurance. Launched in 1999 and formerly called www.eplselect.com, the Website was developed to provide EPL insureds with free risk management resources and training tools.

Created as a complimentary service for Lexington’s EPL insureds, the Web site was designed to assist employers establish workplaces free from discrimination and harassment. The Website includes management training tutorials on discrimination, harassment, evaluations, discipline, and termination as well as Human Resource tools such as best workplace practices manuals, management guidelines, policies, forms, employee handbooks and FAQs, on commonly encountered employee relations issues.

For California-based insureds, www.lexeplhelp.com offers training that helps employers comply with California’s new Assembly Bill (AB) 1825. AB 1825, intended to prevent workplace sexual harassment, requires employers with supervisory authority over California employees to take two hours of anti-harassment training every year. The Website also provides resources and information specific to California workplace laws.

Lexington also added two new services for its EPL insureds: an initial EPL risk evaluation, and a comprehensive policy review and analysis.
