At what point did the people who write the press releases and advertising re-define \”monoline\” to make it interchangeable with \”unsupported\” ? Monoline and multiline describe the P&C insurance contract and have absolutely no relationship to the eligibility or underwriting requirement of being supported or unsupported by collateral business with the carrier. Then again, maybe the blurring of definitions is intentional. Anyone have an explanation for this insanity ?
