Brazauskas Joins Catlin’s U.S. Sub as Chief Administrative Officer

International property and casualty insurer and reinsurer, Catlin Group Limited announced the appointment of Vincent Brazauskas as senior vice president and chief administrative officer of Catlin Inc., the Group’s US subsidiary.

The bulletin, from Catlin’s Bermuda headquarters, said Brazauskas will be responsible for a variety of non-underwriting functions for Catlin’s US operations including Catlin Insurance Company Inc., the Catlin Group’s fourth underwriting platform. “These functions include IT, Human Resources, Facilities Management and Claims.”

Brazauskas has 29 years of insurance management experience, including human resources, IT, communication, facilities and claims expertise. He most recently served as an independent insurance and management consultant in Easton, Massachusetts. Prior to that, he worked for more than 20 years for One Beacon Insurance Company and its predecessors (CGU and Commercial Union), serving as managing director/senior vice president and chief administrative officer from 1995-2002. He had responsibility for IT, Human Resources, Communications, Real Estate and other support functions.

The bulletin also noted that “while at One Beacon/Commercial Union, he also served in a variety of claims functions and was vice president of claims from 1990-1995. He has also worked for GAB Robins North America.”
