NHTSA, which provides the 16k number, has been infiltrated by MADD. Do the research. The numbers being communicated by NHTSA are to promote the neo-prohibition agenda of MADD and to further erode your 4th and 5th amendment constitutional rights of Americans.

While it is a tragedy that people are dying in ARFs, a bigger tragedy is the misinformation being spread to our legislators, who, in turn, promote bad legislation based on these extremely overstated numbers. Visit RIDL.US and become informed about the way MADD, in concert with NHTSA, overstate stats to further the prohibitionist agenda. There is a $20,000 offer extended to any indvidual that can prove these stats accurate. The actual number of ARFs is well below 10,000 per year. It\’s closer to 4,000. Take a look at the website before the bashing begins.

Be informed, the real tragedy is that people are buying into this hype without questioning the source. Who benefits?

Who benefits, perhaps the 4,000 (or 10,000 or 16,000) people that would otherwise not be around.

What gets me is the time and money spent on this without any effort to target aggressive driving or drivers who block the passing lane in rush hour every day. Those are the real crimes. DUI enforcement may be high profile but you can bet that there are no police patrolling your neighborhood to deter burlargy or someone rifling through your car IN YOUR DRIVEWAY. No, they go after the easy stuff. I agree that the numbers don\’t add up; check them out yourself. It\’s not just the numbers but the interpretation. My brother died when a tractor rolled over on him…do we target farmers or John Deere? Cops should do more police work and less politcal work. I don\’t doubt that people die from DUI but what about those who just die from a plain old, simple auto accident? Who do we target then…each and every driver on the road? This is MADD pushing prohibition in the back door.

Haha what are you proposing, the abolishment of freak accidents?

Please will you people use your heads? What is easier to prevent, a freak accident or the occurence of irresposible drivers that knowingly get behind the wheel of a car without the ability to effectively operate it?

It has been over a year now fighting with our Representatives and Senator’s in Pennsylvania.
To get the drunk driving laws changed. No drunk driving does not need to continue. Many officials say its a social disorder or a educational issue but it is not. My findings on this issue is just the opposite because everyone is trained at a early age that drunk driving kills. Its in our papers and taught by District Attorney’s in our schools, by State Police also in the schools. It is taught by driver’s education teachers, in our operating manuals that we hand out to a new driver, its on our bill boards, on our television as commercials, magazines, and our highway signs that PENN D.O.T. Puts up year after year that state D.U.I. It will cost you.
We state throughout the United States and every state that your driver’s license is a privilege and not a right.
This is not so also from what I have found out. We think that some kind of hard justice to be meted out when a drunk driver takes a life but that sad fact is it is way much less than that person would get if he or she just molested a child. The taking of another persons life no matter how it is done by another person is murder no matter how it was done. My web site deals in many aspects of this sort of thing we call justice and why we let drunk driving go on. My web site has the view of the drunk driver because the drunk driver also made a web site so you can visit it also. His web site maybe appalling but this is also the view of all drunk drivers. My web site contains a lot of info and if you look it also has a section titled other issues in which it also deals in Immigration. Yes my opinion is still my opinion but it is based on fact and truth. Why is this so important to me? You can read that also on my web site under Who Was Megan Madeline Thomas? I can tell you that she was my only grand-daughter and I also can tell you that her death should have never happened. I also can tell you that she was only 5 years old. A glimpse of her death is all I give on that web site but there was also a lot more to tell. Eventually I want to put a Megan Award donation on the site. Where anyone could give to her Christian school in Elmira, New York would be presented money for that year to defray the cost of another little boy or girl’s education at that school. Where the school picks out the best one that year that represents the school. The web site is only 4 or 5 days old and I still have a lot more to do on it. You can read everything on it I did not hide anything and also please leave me your thoughts under comments and do not forget to sign the guest book. My web site is…
