…that as a Boomer, I have more loyalty to certain insurers based on service levels they provide me.

In actuality, I am loyal only to the extent my Independent Agent feels a carrier provides the appropriate coverage at a competitive (not necessarily lowest)price. He determines where my \”loyalty\” is best served. If I have \”loyalty\”, it is to the Agent who has very adequately taken care of my needs over the years. That is where service is important to me.

Because the prices and service and claims handling are simply horrible. I switched.

It seems to me that most American Agency System companies, have sat back and watched the Good Neighbors and The Good Hands people for years do thier branding and never brought a horse to the race.

With the help of automation, knowledge, and the internet, Professional Independent Agents can run now circles around captives and directs. It\’s time for our companies to get on the branding wagon!

Because I have been with the same company since 1984.
