Good, let\’s prohibit anything that can be of benefit to consumers and be competition for banks.

The statement \”The House vote met with praise from the American Banking Association, which opposes commercially-owned ILCs\” says it all.

WHERE WERE THESE ILLUSTRIOUS CONGRESSMEN WHEN THE BANKS WANTED IN THE INSURANCE BUSINESS. DID NOT SEEM TO BOTHER THEM FOR THE BANKING CAUSE. WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE. WHY THE HATRED FOR WAL MART & OTHER COS IN USA.

Our leaders distrust Banking & WalMart to a greater degree than they distrust the propensity for consumer detrimental conflicts of interest between Banking & Insurance.

If banking and retail can\’t mix, then why should banking and insurance mix. There is a much greater arena for twisting and coercion between banking and insurance than banking and WalMart.

If I can get a lower interest rate on my Wally World Card vs my Visa, I could finance my groceries for less and would be less likely to need to ask my boss for a pay raise, keeping inflation at bay. That\’s a GOOD THING! As long as I have to \”owe my sole to the company stowe\”, I might as well owe it… at a lower interest rate.

WalMart would NEVER chose profit over ethos!

    \”Charging\” into the future, I remain…
