It certainly seems as if this was a “duh” type of survey. However, in American society, POLLING numbers matter in a HUGE way. The results of this survey will weigh heavily on elected officials. From that aspect, this survey was essential.
Let’s be careful with saying we should have known that without the survey. Too many of our critics do just that, base their criticism on their feelings rather than facts. We should base anything we do on the numbers whenever possible.
