Glad to hear there is an Investigation and I hope this will cause Mandated Regulations that will Protect The Agents and the Policyholders vs Company Policy.
This Industry has had full control for too long. They overstepped their power by thinking they were bullet proof.
They lied, cheated & stole from the Policyholders then hung their Agents out to dry.
God Don’t Sleep. Campaign Contributions won’t buy favors with him.

If this Industry does not start selling Fair Policy, they will crumble…taking Agents etal with them.

There is enough money for everyone and certainly enough profit to pay wind damages during a category 5 hurricane.

    Stop the Greed…
    CEO w/Millions in Annual Bonus,
    Millions in Annual Advertising,
God Know How much in Legal Fees and Engineering Report Games.
Add it all…and rebates could be offered to claim free policyholders but it’s
Quite the opposite, policyholders only receive a guaranteed annual rate increase.
That’s not the right way to treat your clients… ‘

    Just do what is right.

Stop screwing your neighbor and cheating a friend. The true is out and the people have learned an expensive lesson.
    It’s their choice!

Unbelievable. A motley confederation of scamming public adjusters, slimy political insiders, and document thieves smell big $$$ through a “false claims act” lawsuit and the Department of Justice is considering joining this gang….
    Well, nothing surprises anymore…

Miss are you on medication?. Whatever happened to innocent until proven guilty in your great country?.

Speaking as an insurer, the first thing we should do as my countryman suggesd 415 years ago, is kill all the lawyers, [q.v., Henry V1 Part 2, 1592 Shakespeare] after that I leave all right thinking people to their own devices; though as a pointer, would it not be nice if all this wasted litigation cost went to real claimants, or the poor.

flood guy, if it were proven that all the claims made by the sisters were true, would you be in favor of the suit, or would you think they still should not have reported the situation? Just Curious.

RAL: You can rest assured that there will be plenty more whistleblowers if these sisters are able to parley their story into big money in Court.

    Well Mark,

At least I do have a life, It’s away from this site, unlike your life.

Seems you monitor who said what and
    when.
All you do is gossip, then point your finger at everyone else.

You must be the Journal Web Cop?
Yet, you remain behind the scenes and
    correct misspelled words of others.

The only thing that you have done to
    contribute to this problem is
    put other people down.

You are the kind of man
    that is real insecure.
the only way that you can build
    up your self esteem is
    to put other people down.

In fact, You are a real
    menace to society.

    The Policyholders are not the
    ones under investigation here.
    they’ve been victimized enough
    and they’ve done nothing wrong.

The Industry is on the line, here.
If I were you I would hide my face
    until the verdict is in.

I don’t want to see this Industry dissolve
but it would be a good start to
    terminate your kind.

It’s bad enough that you are
    Deceptive & Ignorant,
You are an Arrogant Little Weasel!

You should be ashamed of what
this Industry was done to the Policyholders.

Instead of helping this situation out,
on both sides, you act like a bully
and continue to insult the Policyholders.

    Shows your hypocrisy right there.

I only wish you had to guts to put your
real name behind what you say, as I do,
    and I am a female.

I would like to expose you to every Policyholder remaining on your book of business, because you most certainly do not deserve commission from them.

    These stupid people pay your
rotten bills and feed your greedy ugly face.

These Stupid Red Necks Allow You
to make money while you sit back
and laugh at them while they suffer.

    Without them…you are nothing!
Smuck…Get down from the high horse that
you are riding on and shut up if you can’t tell the truth.

    We know what went on.
We know how & why too.
So stop insulting us with your BS &
    Get another life.

You are A man, without a name.
Stirring up the brew behind the scenes,
and adding insult after insult to the
already injured, and that is a real
stupid thing for you to do.

Take at look at yourself and
you might look at others differently.

Who do you think your ‘re fooling?

You can hide from this web site but
    you can’t hide from God.
Something real bad is going to happen
to you, or someone that you really love.
God, will not continue to allow you to
    hurt other people.
    His wrath is near.
If I were you, I would be afraid.
    Until then…
Email us when you get hurt.
really I don’t wish this on you, it is
just in the cards. Believe me…
No one can escape the wrath of God.

And let’s not forget that the sisters may very well go to jail for their actions. Their actions also led to a criminal investigation against the Scruggs group.
Seems to be plenty of blame to go around on this mess.

Georgio: You can’t be serious. Money going to a worthy cause instead of litigation the insurance industry brought on themselves? Had they paid what they owed up front, the money would have gone to those who are legitimately entitled to it as they should have and cost the insustry 1/10 of what it will ultimately cost them.

    Dear Adjuster-Joe,

Written with a sense of infallibility & rectitude, however I still believe in innocent until proven guilty if they are proven guilty, so be it, one would hope Adjusters do too.

Hey, your rant reads as if it’s a poem or a song. I’ll put some music to it…it could be a hit.

Also, you have a gramatical error. You wrote:
You should be ashamed of what this Industry “was” done to Policyholders.
    It should read:
You should be ashamed of what this Industry “has” done to Policyholders.

You may want to polish that up. I got very confused and it kind of threw me off. You don’t want anybody to miss the point of your post.

    Have a nice day.

The sisters should be thrown in jail for the act of whistleblowing on State Farm or for sharing State Farm’s claim documents with an attorney?

The Sisters did the right thing.
State Farms crime is a billion times worst than blowing a whistle to help innocent victims of fraud.
Even The Bible Tells Us To Denounce Them By Name. The Wolves in Sheep Clothing….
Like Bad Neighbors Claiming to be Good Neighbors. That alone should be False Advertisement.

Don’t sweep State Farm Crimes under the carpet.
If the Company was Honest, The Sisters could have scanned all day long
and no one would have anything on State Farm.
However, the truth is that they had plenty to hide and they are still defiant in trying to get away with the crimes.

    We will have another Katrina.
Can’t wait to hear from the new policyholders when their claims are denied and they they are called stupid for not reading the policy that was sold to them and for not understanding the fact that they pay more to waive the hurricane deductible but they do not have hurricane insurance.

History will repeat itself until someone stands up and demands a fair policy.

Excuse the typo, it was not intended to cause confusion to the Insured.
