As someone who has known Brian Duperrault for many years, he is an excellent choice for the top position at Marsh. His record at AIG and ACE speak volumes about his abilities. He is smart, knows the industry from all sides, and is a great relationship builder. My compliments on persuading him to join Marsh.

I’m with ACE and have seen the awesome growh here. What a coup to get someone of this stature to take over MMC. I guess he’s taken a page from the Donald Kramer handbook and decided you’re never too old or retired to try and bring a company back from the brink!

Great choice..-sounds like everyone likes Brian
But everyone hasn’t met him yet, and he hasn’t tried to untangle the mess yet
But good luck to him, he’ll need it
At the same time, he did work under Maurice Greenburg at AIG, and DESPITE what Idiot Spitzer thinks, Greenburg is a genius

I do not know Mr. Duperreault, but I know he has one hell of a challenge ahead of him. Setting up a successful, albeit well capitalized offshore is no 9 to 5 task, but it sure didn’t have the baggage Marsh is carrying around internally and externally. I wish him success, but the reality of this statement, “This is an institution with unrivaled resources and capabilities.”, is simply not an accurate representation on the state of Marsh today…ask any Marshian, the expenses, bene’s ,and support are also going through a “restructuring” too.
