This is an amazing article. If the SEC had been doing their job, maybe the subprime crisis could have been averted. It does not take a rocket scientist to know that the real estate market always has corrections. There is significant historical data that they could have drawn from!!!Even the government employees should have known that a correction was possible at some point and they still allowed the subprime time bomb to be built. Amazing that so much incompetency could be so concentrated in one employer; the US Government!!!!!!!
