There is no sense in allot of these types of verdicts. She heard money was being given away & wanted her share of it. Is the money going to bring back her hubby? What if the drug companies made people sign hold harmless agreements before you take anything?
I am shocked more idiots like her did not come forward.
Seems Lawyers do not have anything to do with their time.

It does my heart good to know that some scumbag plaintiff attorney who thought he could simply “belly up to the trough” came up empty on this case.

Are they telling me that somebody with a history of heart attacks can have another one? That’s outrageous. Somebody should sue the court for using science and logic to make a decision.

The basic problem all along with this “case” was that it was venue’d in Rio Grande City (Hidalgo or Maverick county, I can’t remember which) – anyway, this is the Rio Grande valley where all the Pltfs and all the jurors look, act and speak the same – almost impossible to lose a liability law suit there – unless you are of similar persuasion
