and the new CEO of AIG not being a “core insurance” person: CEO’s never seem to be core insurance people. They mostly know about keeping the stock price up, buying other “related businesses” to keep the stock price up, or selling other related businesses to keep the stock price up. Sorry insurance guys and gals, you just can’t run insurance companies. Probably know too much about insurance, integrity, and good service to qualify………..

I hear you, Mr CMC..-but if Mr Greenberg had any say in who replaced Sullivan..-and IF Willumstad isn’t a fool he will maintain the corporate integrity AND identity of AIG as a (the) world-class underwriter it is and should remain as. and AVOID any thoughts of breaking up the Company.
That stuff should be left to the street-walkers out there; like Bear, Stearns and others…-and look where they are now.
-Otherwise Mr Willumstad will be singing the blues at the Ivan Boesky-Michael Milken Memorial Home
