I hard pressed to understand all the hoopla about the exchange. Anyone in the industry today knows well there is NO capacity shortage, nor is there a lack of competition. What are we thinking??
Jerry, it’s just a matter of time before we’ll experience capacity shortages. If I understood the article correctly, they won’t be rolling this out for another 18 months which could very well coincide with a hardening market.
Also it enables “federalization without federalization” as referred to by Dinallo yesterday and today. That is a significant step forward from the patchwork state by state regulation that exists presently.
