When it is going to become clear to the main stream media that Barney Frank is so deeply involved with the misleading of Americans from his position in Congress that he should resign from his position if not from Congress altogether?

Why is it not obvious to you “professional journalists” that his conflicts going back twenty years and his outright and easily provable lies in Congress should elevate him to the status of a non-supporter of all things good and honest and to the Constitution itself.

Oh. I forgot, you journalists give a pass to anyone and everyone liberal and Dem, and of course because he is gay you can’t even entertain the thought that you would say anything negitive about him.

You all live outside the boundries of decency.

Are you kidding? Congress is sick. They can’t be trusted to have oversight over anything including themselves. They must all be replaced with independents and not successors hand picked by the two party establishment.

Lets see, it was the Banking industry that was deregulated and then led America down the prim-rose path. Now it is the Banking industry that wants to infect the Insurance industry with their brand of regulation. How stupid can America be to let that group, greenspan, greenberg, fruit loop and tootsie roll get any further grasps on economic fortunes of the citizenry. Wake up folks!

You beat me to it! I read the lead paragraph, and thought,”Who’s going to scrutinize Congress?”. What was the title of that book – “Parliament of Whores”? I have way more respect for the working girls!

Well said; stick to the issue. It was the banking industry which said we need less regulation so the US can really make money and compete with the rest of the autocratic/oligarchic/plutocratic ruled economies and when it goes sour, just because several investment banks just happen to own good solid insurance companies making money the old fashioned way, let’s make sure that they get punished too! reminds me of kids who get caught doing something and instead of taking their medicine, they point their finger at their sibling and say, “he did it too, what about him?” I am sick of hearing these folks cast aspersions as if the assertion makes it fact. but that’s how mud is slung, ins’t it???
