“Let’s get our story straight” ?
This stands in stark contrast to the latter IJ Article where in West Virginia there was a clear case of negligence/Liability & Homeowners Carrier was not required to pay ???

So what’s the moral to the story…

They actually started passing out free condoms at our Christmas party this year as a joke based on what happened last year!

Last Staurday night one of our friends had the type of gathering you discribe in the article. Nothing happened, but during the evening the conversation did come up. Almost everyone said that they would not come back after the host if they were involved in a mishap. As mentioned in the article it is the State or a third party that could bring the suit and I believe that alot of people today do not look at the other outside parties that could come after them. I told them to look at the Rhode Island night club fire and look at all the parties that paid out even though they had nothing to do with it.
All one has to do is open the eyes of or clients and show them in todays society they best look past the friendship.

Well with a 50% increase in the cost of our family’s health insurance in 2008 and skyrocketing food prices, we won’t be throwing any parties this year.

To all: Happy Holidays and Best Wishes for a Terrific New Year.
