Allison to Chair Children’s Program for Insurance Charitable Foundation

The Insurance Industry Charitable Foundation has named Kristen Mauger Allison the new chairperson of the Insuring the Children Program.

Allison will be filling the seat of outgoing Chairman Frank Robitaille. In her role, she will help guide the development and growth of the Insuring the Children Program.

Allison is the president/owner of Burnham Benefits Insurance Services, a regional employee benefits brokerage and consulting firm focused on benefit practice management. She acquired the benefits practice of John Burnham & Co. in 1995 after spending four years as the cmpany’s top benefits advisor. Prior to that, she spent eight years as vice president of Willis. She started her career with Equitable Life Assurance as a sales agent specializing in large group products, and has been in the benefit practice segment of the insurance industry since 1981.

Kristen serves on the advisory board for Anthem Blue Cross, Blue Shield and United Healthcare. She serves her community and is involved in a number of nonprofit organizations, including The Women’s Philanthropy Fund, Miocean, and The Mustard Seed Ranch.

The Insurance Industry Charitable Foundation is a 501 (c) 3 nonprofit organization operating in the western United States and New York and the Tri-state area. Its mission is to combine the collective strengths of the insurance industry to provide grants, volunteer service and leadership.
