    It’s philosphies like this that will keep Berkshire afloat and profitable while the others (AIG) will fizzle out.

    One might ask why an old multi-billionaire needs a token salary at all?

    It’s easy to boast about Buffet’s low salary when you’re worth $30-$60B and your real goal is to maximize your stock value. His income is close to meaningless at that level. Why stop there? He could really look like a hero and actually pay Berkshire Hathaway to work there. What a hero he would be!
