This is an outright take over of all American’s bodies and pocket books by the elitists. Enslaving all Americans for all time.

If the bill is so great why doesn’t our U.S. Congress have to be covered under the same plan??

    1. Because we still have the freedom to choose who we go to for our insurance?

    2. The bill isn’t finished and signed into law yet?

    3. Government employees have damn good health benefits?

    Pick one.

After so many years of trying to get ahead, working 50 hours a week, going into work early and leaving late. I have come to one conclusion!

    I QUIT!

I want all of you out there to:

    Pay my mortgage
    Pay my kids education.
    Pay my healthcare
    Pay my social security.
    Pay my food stamps
Pay my kids food at the school cafeteria
    Pay my clunker
    Pay my unemployment

There that does it, Oh how I feel so much better now, knowing that I am well taken care of. I just have one thing to do, Tomorow I am going down to the clerks office and changing my voters registration to the Democratic Party.

    Hopefully not much.

The insurance at my work sucks ***. We went from a good policy down to the bottom of the barrel with Kaiser due to the rise in costs. We now have to meet a $3,000 deductible before benefits kick in. I went to the doctors after the plan was changed and my co-pay was $75. After the visit, I had to pay $280. Then my prescription was expensive as well.

So, I’m finally on my wife’s health insurance, which is much better. But, now they are saying they are changing the plans around due the rise in costs.

Dont worry, Obama will take care of you by giving you all the benefits you want provided you can wait 2 years for treatment and dont earn more than 60K for your family otherwise you will be paying for your premiums and your neighbors health insurance.

Allan, Did you pay 100% for the terrible insurance through your employer? Well now you will to the government!

Your employer will cancel their group and tell you to go to Obamas healthcare plan and pay the $600 fine a year for not having a plan.

    Bill and Sarah,

I know you are among the sheep that believe whatever you see on TV or hear on the AM radio band.

Again, I don’t mind privatized insurance as long as it’s affordable and do not deny coverage…..for anything!

What I’ve basically been writing in other posts is all about the insurance companies being ethical.

Oh now it all about ethical insurance. NO thats not true. Its about a government taking from those that earn and giving it to those that do not earn and telling everyone that they have a right to healthcare. NO they do not, Where in the constitution or bill of rights does anyone have a right from the government to healthcare?

The role of Governement is to protect us from enemies both foreign and domestic and provide security for us. That is it.

That’s because it’s like debating with a brick wall. You are not engaged in the problems or issues we are facing. I’m trying to present an outline of issues and you sheep are just saying “it’s governament control, leave my coverage alone, we’re fine just the way we are, government stay out of the way etc. etc.”

All I hear is no no no. There’s no ideas or understanding coming from your side. Just blah blah blah.

Your “specific question” really isn’t making any sense since this was in reply to another person’s post regarding “If the bill is so great why doesn’t our U.S. Congress have to be covered under the same plan??

    My reply to that was:

    1. Because we still have the freedom to choose who we go to for our insurance?

    2. The bill isn’t finished and signed into law yet?

    3. Government employees have damn good health benefits?

    Pick one.

Then you ask, “How much will these “damn good benefits” cost?”

Not fully understanding your point, I reply “hopefully not much.” And went into some other rant.

But it’s a fact that government employees have good benefits.

    So, whats your point again?

…to everything. My point is you want “damn good benefits”. I think you should have them AND you should pay for them WITH YOUR OWN MOINEY.
    1) Your first point on freedom to choose. Yes, however, the government will have an unfair andvantage. They will be confiscating insurance company profits through taxation and then will use this advantage to place their product in the market place at a lower than actual cost.
    2) The bill isn’t fininshed and signed into law, however we all know the concept of what the current administration wants. If waste and abuse were so easy to elimnate, why do we need a bill to begin to eliminate? The math is pure smoke and mirrors.
    3) Government employees have damn good benefits. And the tax payer provides them. Now you want to add the rest of the country and I ask how much and you call me a ranter?

I never called you a ranter. You finally posted some logic I agree with…to a point.

Look, this whole thing stinks. The system we have in place isn’t working for most people. Small business are looking to cut costs as much as possible and health care is one of them. The owner of the agency I work at has contemplated a few times dropping our insurance all together and let us fend for ourselves. He hasn’t yet, just purchased the bottom of the barrel policy he could find. And it’s like not having coverage at all.

The government stepping in and trying to do something to help people that are in desperate need of healthcare reform may not be the best out there at this time but it sounds better than what we have currently. And still needs work. I’m sure you have heard the horrer stories of people who had insurance and got dicked.

So, if the insurance companies suffer, than so be it. Dinasours will die.

But I highly doubt private health insurance companies are going anywhere. They’ll just have to restructure to compete and give their clients better service.

90% of denied medical services and proceedures are denied by Medicare and only 10% by private insurers. Your methodolgy is nothing more than propoganda that you have bought into and not the truth.

Allan is much like the caller I heard on a conservative talk show today. It’s almost like they read from a script since they have bought all the lies that are being spouted by the left. What business do you work in Allan? When will the government decide you are “greedy and unfair” and decide it’s in the public interest to take over your industry? The “public interest” doesn’t own me or earn the money I make and shouldn’t just be able to decide how much I should be entitled to. It sounds trite to sheeple like yourself, but it is just unAmerican.

    Allan,
I am cancelling your health insurance so you can pay for Obama’s health plan, and since you are always on the internet at work and want someone else to take care of you we are going to have to let you go.

Good luck with Obamas healthcare, unemployment extention and maybe you can get your mortgage modified. Dont worry they will probably save or create a job for you.
