Not if those currently in Power have anything to say about it.

I think the proper comment is that small business feels they will lead the recovery “in spite of those currently in power.”

I’m usually pessimistic & cynical on this forum (and usually for good reason)but I am optimistic about the future of small businesses. Too many people have seen how the mega-businesses are either corrupt (think large banks, AIG, et. al.) or inflexible and so bound by rules and guidelines that they can’t respond to customer/client demands.

Make no mistake, the mega businesses will attempt to use governments as their enforcement arms to beat away small businesses but their total disconnection from the market (think GM-Government Motors)will be their doom. Here’s to the free market!

Truth is that “those in power” are large corporations, the wealthy and Wall Street and you’re right, they have been able to rig the game against small business and average Ammericans for years and probably will continue to do so.
