Nancy Pelosi was touring the countryside in a chauffeur-driven car.
Suddenly, a cow jumps out into the road, they hit it full on, and the car comes to a stop.
Nancy, in her usual charming manner, says to the chauffeur: ‘You get out and check – you were driving.’
The chauffeur gets out, checks, and reports that the animal is dead but it was old.
‘You were driving; go and tell the farmer,’ says Nancy.
Two hours later, the chauffeur returns totally plastered, hair ruffled with a big grin on his face.
‘My God, what happened to you?’ asks Nancy. The chauffeur replies: ‘When I got there, the farmer opened his best bottle of malt whiskey, the wife gave me a slap-up meal and the daughter made love to me.’

‘What on earth did you say?’ asks Nancy.

‘I just knocked on the door and when it was answered, I said to them: ‘I’m Nancy Pelosi’s chauffeur, and I’ve just killed the old cow.’

We do need reform. I work in a small office and have paid for my own health insurance for years. In the past 3 years the cost has gone from $2875 to $4950 a year for basic coverage. That does not include all the co-pays and I am one of the lucky ones. I only make about $32,000 so if the costs go to $28,000 I will end up in trouble and probably on the system anyway.
I have noticed some doctors will no longer take people on medicaid or even people with Workers’ Compensation Claims, I assume due to all the paperwork, etc…
With computers, health information should be shared with the patients permission and filing claims should also be easier. People should not have to stress over health care. It needs to be affordable for everyone.

I am not worried. I am absolutely certain, because my elected leaders told me over and over, that some rich guy will be paying for my health care.

Would all rich guys willing, and able, to pay for my health care please raise their
    hand?

    Guys? Guys?

    Concerned,

Passed in the Stimulus package earlier this year, was the requirement that ALL medical records be electronic, and they will be made available, not only to your doctor, hospital, etc., but to the Federal government. Big Brother will be watching the progression of your healthcare!

not sure how the current administration keeps getting a free pass claiming health care reform will lower everyones costs and create a more efficiet system. Health care reform will place a real cost burden on both large and small employers. If you thin your insurance is expensive now, just wait until the federal government shows up to help you out. There is honestly not one service our government provides that is better, less expensive or more efficient than what private business could provide.
