Is there anyone who writes this program can tell me how it compares to carriers like Safeco, Hartford, Travelers, One Beacon or Allied? As far as coverage and pricing?
I can tell you on restaurants, it blew travelers out of the water. I don’t use the other carriers. On the Travelers policy, we moved an account and saved our insured about $1300, about 26%.
I can tell you that Liberty Mutual has a more competitive BOP. HOWEVER, I would still love to have this carrier in my portfolio, but getting appointed with them in FL is no easy task.
The premiums are competitive but be prepared to hear alot of “no, sorry we don’t write that/not in our appetite” etc. We too were excited to be appointed but it’s been a year and I think we’ve written 4 accounts with them.
