Without global warming chemicals (CO2 to toxic shelter in place releases), the following predictions may take decades to unfold instead of weeks. “IV. Hurricane (Tropical Cyclone) Ecosystem Predictions for the World in 2010. … B. Total predicted monster hurricane ecosystem hits and projected routes … 1. The main routes (95%) of catastrophic devastation in the North Atlantic will be – from to: a. Windward/Leeward Islands: Bahamas – Haiti/Havana/Jamaica – Nicaragua/Honduras/Belize – Yucatan – Louisiana (30%) … b. Western Gulf – Texas/Louisiana – Oklahoma – Omaha (15%), and c. Mid Atlantic: … Bahamas – Miami – Baton Rouge – Louisville, Kentucky (15%)” (“12th Annual 2010 North Atlantic Basin Hurricane Season Predictions with Related, Planetary Models”; Robert James Rhodes, Supplemental; GBRWE 2/7 – 13/10, 2/13/10).

So it’s not the disagreement that you scorn, it’s the method others use to get THEIR facts that bothers you? I’m sorry but with shredded emails communicating the need to influence more than provide scientific proof, your side has lost all but its last smidgen of credibility. Calling your opposition stupid merely shows you flunked debate class. Scolding them for not consulting you is just arrogant. I guess scientists no longer observe the imperative of backing up their claims with actual proof. Today we “settle” science and seek “consensus”. Apparently, that memo was only circulated in the left-wing of the scientific community, huh, Chicken Little?

Terrorism in the courts is the rule of the day. I’m surprised that someone has not sued God! But then again money is not with God. Global warming is about money and who has it and who controls it. Since no one has a handle on weather and no one can definitly explain it, it is a perfect environment to rouse and rout out reason. Global warming is the vehicle to usher in “One World Government” led by The World Bank.

Wow- you must be right, since you have so many strong statements with numerical percentages…

Look, I majored in engineering and took statistics (not the dumbed down version for business majors, but real statistics). I know for certain what most of us know instinctively, namely that you can manipulate statistical models through any number of means, therefore these predictive models are highly subjective and potentially meaningless.

I exhaled out alot of CO2 while writing this-please don’t turn me into the EPA or sue me for causing hurricanes!

I also seem to remember something about plants needing CO2 to survive… and that one volcano spews out more CO2 than all the industrial nations combined…

As the Sage of Baltimore, H.L. Mencken wrote, “The whole aim of practical politics is to keep the populace alarmed (and hence clamorous to be led to safety) by menacing it with an endless series of hobgoblins, all of them imaginary.”

“Global warming” falls within Mencken’s imaginary hobgoblins. The tenacity of this hoax is testament to the complete lack of critical analysis by the mainstream media.

The earth needs to renew itself every so often to stay around. While she does this, you will notice subtle changes in her like temperture fluxations, etc.

As for the Earthquakes, Fires and Floods, that is because I am really angry at the politicians in this world!!!

Remember, you reap what you sow!

    1. Could someone good with mega-math calculate the following? Surface area of the open ocean waters (70% of the earth) / volume of the land based glaciers / Surface area of dry land within 1 foot of average sea levil; Is there even enough water to do it if we wanted to?
    2. David: Right on target! And we’re all part of that class action suit!

If climate change is all a hoax, why are insurance companies in the forefront of solutions? Your own industry realizes that if nothing is done, it — and the world– will be in trouble. They get it.
I, for one, care about the planet we leave our children. Do you?

The whole global warming alarmist movement is all about $$$. Its a worldwide hoax promulgated by those who wish to form a 1 world government and they know that to do so- to get people to give up their sovreinty- they must create a world wide crisis and make it look like the only solution is for all nations to join forces. The earth since God created it- has undergone climate changes naturally for thousands of years.

It is not surprising for all your typical “hoax” posts to fail in predicting anything between the center of the Earth and the Sun while claiming all knowledge. Citing Marc Morano’s buffet of GOP talking points in climatedepot.com may be the closet thing to a natural prediction mustered by this Skeptic Tank. If nothing more, part of your failed claims of any expertise with even the basic scientific method was seen in a collective failure to read anything about my global warming predictions. Statistically, since not one of y’all deniers failed to google me and said yes to “knee-jerk”, respondents are nonrandom and, thus, more likely to drown the “Word of Bob” (wink wink nudge nudge) in their corporate server farms’ downtime e-wastes.

Since when have you known an Insurance Company to not waste money, they have to! Look at the watse they give to the executives! They also make so many bad investments that they cost each and everyone of us money so I wouldn’t put too much weight on the fact that the Insurance Industry is wasting money on it.
They should be reinvesting in their companies to create more jobs but instead they headge and cut back load their employees with 3 x’s the work load than they need so fugettabot the Insurance aspect of it!

Max- what would you know about real science. YOu can survey 100 different scientists on this issue and fail to get a real definitive consensus. Scientists are all about getting money for their research and whomever provides that money to them usually gets the answer they want. I am not buying climate change, or global warming as anything else than a national security threat developed by kooks who were in the United Nations back in the 1970’s.

Ozonator v Pantomime AGW ‘cane scientists (Gray&Morano)

2010 should be as bad as 2004 for hurricane damage.

Just 1 example found, with no effort and no brains, how to use global warming to predict a 2008 Hurricane Dolly –

Bill Gray and Marc Morano proved that they had no expertise and all blew their chance to prove me wrong and themselves correct.

    Ta Da

    http://www.tcpalm.com/news/2008/jul/15/hurrican-forecaster-william-gray-says-global-warmi/?feedback=1

With a $10 calculator, only the Ozonator could and the entire Skeptic Tank could not. About 2 years ago, back when Bill Gray was the greatest TV hurricane guru on the planet, before he and his replacement appeared in photos under a wedding arch in the Bahamas — back when the ink on the contract to Greenland Marc Morano’s soul was in Limbaugh’s Pilonidal Cyst Museum of the Vietnam War — and Lord Monckton of Brenchley was young enough to use an apaxial gait to catch the youngest bugs high in the trees.
