If Flo is available as a background, I may even purchase an iPhone.

Especially if she can read me my text messages and her laugh is the ringtone.

Oh Gooddie Here is another way for them to go direct and cut out the independent Agent. Thanks Progressive. Keep up the good self serving work. I put this in the correct order with the find an agent last on the list. After all Progressive.com does not list fine an agent on the front screen as a button. You reall have to look for it to get an agent

Get car insurance quotes and buy a policy
Make payments and update policy information
Get directions to the closest service center, where customers receive Progressive’s concierge level of claims service
Research crash test results and recall notices
Calculate and budget for monthly car loan payments
Compare the relative costs to insure different types of cars
    Report and track claims
Watch the latest Progressive TV commercials
Get directions to a local independent insurance agent

I cannot see anyone wasting bandwidth on this turkey. I have a Droid phone and no way am I cluttering it up with this type commercial nonsense. If you need this app on your phone, you should consider selling your car(s) and walking everywhere.

All these posts seem to be to come from those who are not keeping with the times.

Technology is evolving and phone apps are the new thing. I think it is a good way to show the company is ever evolving for the customer, because isn’t that the customer the end consumer – not the agent.

I don’t know that I’d watch Progressive commercials on my phone…I have better things to do. Still, the claims feature and recall info is useful.

I found some other iPhone and Android car insurance apps, if you don’t have Progressive: http://www.cheapercarinsurance.com/articles/top-5-android-and-iphone-insurance-apps/
