General Star Introduces Miscellaneous Professional E&O Program

General Star Management Company has launched a new miscellaneous professional liability (MPL) program available in all states. The program is offered through V3 Insurance Partners LLC, General Star’s exclusive program administrator for this new national facility.

The Vantage360 MPL program provides professional liability coverage for small to medium-sized non-degreed professionals and professional services firms. More than 300 middle-market professional classes will be underwritten for the introductory phase of the Vantage360 MPL product line. The program is written on a primary basis and targeted at firms with up to $25,000,000 in receipts.

Program coverages include reputation restoration protection and disciplinary proceedings protection. Optional coverages consist of privacy & security, intellectual property, sexual abuse/molestation, and contingent bodily injury/property damage.

Coverage will be written on a non-admitted basis in all states by General Star Indemnity Company or General Star National Insurance Company. Both companies are rated A++ (Superior) by A.M. Best Company and carry an AA+ Insurance Financial Strength Rating from Standard & Poor’s Corporation.

“The MPL market continues to expand. The recent economic crisis has fueled the growth of small, home-based consulting and service businesses,” said Robert Parker, senior vice president and professional lines national practice leader for V3 Insurance Partners.
