    Ironically this is announced the day he and his missions get off from being prosecuted for the collapse of the company.

    Do any of you critics have any idea of the good Greenberg has done for this industry, not to mention this country? I submit that his positive contributions far outweigh his apparent mistakes or failures.

    Hank Greenberg was never any harder on anyone else than he was on himself and no one can deny his philanthropy.

    Congratulations. One of the greatest insurance leaders of all time. Worked at AIG for almost 16 years and learned more and did more than some people in the business for 30 and 40 years. Mr. Greenberg is a “true” leader!
