The Governor is but you can’t clean up a train wreck overnight. Especially when the engine that caused the mess is still powerful and controls both houses of the legislature.
Union thugs have nothing to do with tort costs. But NJ is not a great place right now. We have the highest property taxes in the country, people are leaving in droves, we have a govenor that is cutting everything in site and wants to forbid local municipalities from raising property taxes to compensate for lack of money coming from Trenton, a govenor who sacks supreme court justices he does not agree with, all to score political points. When the housing market improves, I am out of here! PA here I come!
Not all Republican lawyers are in Real Estate. we have a few that specialize in DUI defense (you need them, because this economy is driving everyone to drink).
I have often observed, that if you are the suer you want to be in a sinning jurisdiction and if you are a suee you want to be with the angels (saints).
