As long as Barry gives BP all autority over all our environment in the Gulf. The oil will flow freely.

We will need to change the name of the gulf to the Black Sea soon.

Barry has to give all the autority to BP because of all the tea party pinheads and right wing fear mongers who have driven home the point that government is inefficient and shouldn’t be doing what corporations are geared to do. And we have to eliminate all taxes, so of course, the government shouldn’t be regulating corporate activity and harming their stock price.

Remember Jimmy, the government that governs best, governs least.

Not sure why the president’s detractors call Pres. Obama “Barry.” Is that some kind of intended insult???

We are all mature adults in here, right? Bet lots of us had nicknames when we were young. Maybe we can show the president some respect, he’s doing the best he can. I had to put up with an employer calling him pretty racist names before he was elected. He won and please support him.

I don’t know why you all are so surprised they would cut corners – just like all the other businesses being hurt by today’s economy. It would have been fine and dandy if there hadn’t been such a disaster. I find it hard to believe BP is and has been doing anything different than any other drilling rig anywhere else. And I am certain BP didn’t want all this horrific press. I am firmly against our govt stepping in – we don’t want to assume any liability from becoming involved nor do we have the expertise to handle the problem. The oil rigs have been a money maker to those in the Gulf for decades, this is the unfortuate down side to having them there.
