There’s no way that law & regulation can keep pace with the technology. For better or worse, companies like Viacom and producers of content will need to embrace this reality and try to be proactive about finding ways to generate revenue from these technologies rather than become lawsuit happy. Look at a company like Apple with iTunes- they found a model that basically killed Napster.
