Good news – fewer workplace fatalies.

Bad news – fewer people working due to the lousy economy.

I can’t wait for the Whitehouse to make the announcement-“President Obama has worked tirelessly on behalf of commmon folk workers to make their lives safer. Thanks to his efforts, there has been a significant drop in workplace fatalities” “Democrats claim increased enforcement, fines, and taxes spurred the drop even while Republicans pushed for less enforcment of work safety rules and more deaths”. The news media will lap this up.

Right on Tom! There are still just as many “workers” still meeting their demise, however, Deaths from stroke, Hypertension, Suicide, and Depression related causes that occur in the unemployment lines are not classified as work related. He’s replaced the showers and ovens with the unemployment lines.
