Ain’t that the American way? No matter what ruling you get, just keep appealing until you get the ruling you want. And because litigation is expensive, maybe your opponent will just give up. That’s a lot like raising the bet in a poker game until the other guy can’t meet the call; no matter what kind of hand you have, in this case whether or not your case is a winner, you can’t continue until you can keep putting up more money. So Wal-Mart has billionSSS, just make one more appeal. And don’t worry about Stare Decicis, that means nothing anymore. Our laws are only temporary, until the next guy files a suit. the pendulum will swing one way, but later it swings back. Only those with the most resources will prevail. Ain’t that the American way? To get your day in court? To finally get justice? HAH!

The 9th Circuit Court of Appeals is the most liberal one out there. They’re going to go after all the big bad corporations to try to make a point. When all those women loose their jobs to pay off the billions in legal fees, will they still feel discriminated against?
The only one making out is the scumbag ambulance chaser. He’s getting rich no matter what.

I am not sure I get your point Dave – are you saying that Wal Mart or any other company should not be held accountable by their employees because the result might end up hurting their coworkers? So, if you ever feel you are wronged in your life, are you suppossed to take it? What if there are multiple people that feel like they were treated unfairly – at what point, or number of people effected, do the scales tip and make it all right to go after company you feel has treated you poorly? No doubt that these lawyers will have a banner payday when this is all said and done, but that should not determine whether a group of women can file a cliam against their employer. They both had their day in court.

Come on, blame. Be realistic. How many of those women “victims” saw the opportunity for a payday by claiming discrimination and jumping on the bandwagon for free money. There might have been some women that were discriminated against, but 1+ million? I don’t think so. It’s not usually your highley educated working there, so I’d bet most are looking for their money from the big bad corporation that the liberals are all warning us about, becuase they apparently like keeping the po’ folks down.
As for having their day in court, like I said, the 9th Circuit carries the liberal banner. Just check out their track record.
