    My question is what happens when one of the players not in the 40 monitored gets a concussion? Now you have the case of the university having the ability to monitor the players health, but not providing it. Negligence??

    A measurement of 98 or above is deemed a concussion, but 97 isn’t? By the author’s own statement, its more complex than that. Whatever protocol is adopted should not involve using a “hard” threshold, but a method of assessment that is graduated (and should probably consider the mass of the player’s head.)
