Fortunately for them, Benmosche’s children need not worry about his having to declare bankrupcy as a result of his inability to pay for his medical treatment.

    Ah, the rich ARE different.

I do wish Mr. Benmosche a quick and thorough recovery.

Must be nice having a father like this and not having to worry about your future. I’m sure between his net worth, investments, and real estate, none of his family members will ever have to work and have the responsibilities and worries most people have. I’m surprised he made those comments at a time like this. Nothing like challenging your kids to succeed.

Most importantly, he seems like a decent guy and I wish him the best in his health battle.

Hope he recovers but Insurance Journal really needs to lay off the Croatian villa – I think I’ve read the same drivel a dozen times in a dozen different articles about it. We get it. He’s richer than God and his kids will never have to work for the villa. God forbid we let the Bush tax cuts expire or his estate might have to use a cheaper fertilizer on the vines.
