After years of under performing stock and implementing a customer retention plan that defies logic, can anyone explain to me why Wilson is still the CEO? When will the Board wake up and realize this guy is a walking disaster? He should have been non-renewed long ago.

It is clear that Allstate is cooking the books, you can talk to any agent around the country and they’ll tell you how much business they are loosing on a daily basis, also the loss ratio accross the board is out of control. In addition retention is forecast to go down double digits in 2011 due to all the rate increases and lack of quality service, since agents are cutting support staffs to the very minimun in order to put food on the table.

Was chiseling $20. here, $30. there off a part time employee’s commission, changing the name of the writing agent to his, when the sale finally came in. So hard up he had to steal! Desperate!

Allstate problems are with the direct marketing of insurance on the web site, and the abandonment of their agents. Micro management has gotten out of hand and the Company seems obsessed with harassing their Agents with mystery shoppers and the reduction of products available. Many agents wonder if higher management has ever sold anything and if there is a clear course for the future, that includes the sales force. The Company needs to clearly state that the future of Allstate includes the Agency staff. Allstate has started and ended more programs in the last 5 years then any other Company. The only consistency is that whatever program they have today, will not be the program for next year. Insureds expects consistency and this is certainly lacking

After our Allstate raked our cousin over the coals trying to cheap out of paying a legit. property claim, everyone in the quite extensive family that had Allstate cancelled or replaced at renewal. The adjuster was deliberately under-measuring the sq. ft. of the rooms in the house to try to under-pay the claim. How chintzy and sleazy can you get? If you have a claim with Allstate you need to get a lawyer – how creepy is that???
