Imagine that, lawyers determined that the homeowners were late on their payments?
Why else would a lender foreclose…you think they may want to become real estate companies and sell those houses?

Probably, they are more interested in getting the loan payments as agreed upon.

I’ve written about 3 letter per week to just about anyone I thought would listen.
I’m not surprised at the outcome – the servicers smooth over any questions/problems with these mortgages. They make an error in escrow calculation and they call it an error because of escrowed items and an undercollection in the monthly escrow. Not ever a mention of their mistake…They have given this excuse to my state senator, HUD, etc. The travesty is that they will probably get away with it….

I am of the opinion that the lenders were culpable in the creation of the housing bubble by providing loans to unqualified buyers (sub-prime)and then foreclosing on those buyers when the bubble burst. Now the housing market is flooded with an incredible inventory of foreclosed homes which prevents me from being offered fair market value for my home. Is there a reputable law firm out there that is interested in conducting a class action suit holding the lenders responsiblie for the culpibility in this fiasco?
