This bill needs to be fast tracked to the Supreme Court. The Obama Administration is opposed to this. They realize that it very well could be deemed unconstitutional and want to hold up the process in the appellate courts as long as possible until the bill is so entrenced it will be hard to dismiss.

The Dems would prefer a slow roll of this issue banking on America falling in love with the new mandates. Talk about being out of touch. The left has no reached nearly delusional status: call it healhcare psychosis. The mental gymnastics they are going through is in full display in WI where the Dems did a run away bride act that stood their belief in the democratic process on is head. Somehow its democratic for a Democrat to run away from the democratic process. I am not surprised since the left has always shunned adherence to process over their desires. This typifies their basic tenet of “the end justifies the means” and anything is allowed as long as it reaches they self proclaimed “just” end. Using that principle, they then pronounce their actions a moral and heroic. Proving my point that their seems to be a mass psychosis that has enveloped the left since November. The symptoms will persist for some time and will become worse in 2012.

Tom, I am of the belief that Progressive Socialism is a mental disease shared by the brain washed who believe in Social Justice and redistribution of wealth. They are so far out in “left” field that they don’t permit any other view or opinion on the direction of the country. Look at these rabid Wisconsin protestors. They are foaming at the mouth. They think they can bully the governor into giving in to their demands. The cowardly Senators left the state and are hiding out to keep from voting. This is a relatively small amount of the population, but they scream the loudest on anything that goes against them. Their days are numbered and many more states, including Ohio are reigning them in.

    Two reasons for the stall:
    1) Because of reconciliation, they were not able to add severability clause. IE if one part is found unconstituitional, the whole thin is.
    2) Hoping one of the four conservative justices will just die. Kennedy as always the wildcard, but he has sided with business more often than not, so they(socialists) can’t count on him.

The worst thing that could happen is one of the Conservative Justices to die. Obama could then appoint another Kagen and the court would be tipped for years. Hopefully, all will hang in there until the next election and Obama can be voted out to prevent this from happening.
