    Seems more regulation wouldn’t be necessary. If the rental company is negligent in leasing cars with known safety defects, it follows they would likely have a claim under their CGL. This would likely add additional costs, which, of course, the consumer would ultimately bear.

    What would we do if the federal government wasn’t there to protect us? It’s not like we’re all adults and can make our own decisions. Thank you Chuck-you Schumer for saving us from businesses that want to make a profit!
