These things confuse me? Why have insurance if we all have to pay for it? If you live on the coast, expect hurricanes. If they want to fund it with Federal money, then anyone living or business in a coastal state should pay 20% more in Federal taxes. Then that would be fair. As for tornados in the rest of the country, you can’t really predict where they’ll be, so those people just need to buy insurance for it. Back to hurricanes, you can’t predict how many will happen in a year, but you can guarantee when it does, it hits more than one small town, it hits STATES!
