If you put a 120lb woman behind the wheel of a Suburban, she is a whole lot more aggressive than if driving a Malibu. They think they own the road. Put a cell phone in her ear, and she is a menace to society and an accident waiting to happen.
It does depend on what the car is, I think. Back in the day when I drove a 69 VW pop-top toaster and had the beard, etc. I drove fairly rationally. When the new 86 Saab turbo came along that changed. I look back and cringe when I see people driving like I did.
My old, high school driver ed teacher once told me that men could know the important personality traits of any woman, if we could get a chance to follow her and observe her vehicle behavior, in traffic for 10-15 minutes; an aggressive driver and one which does not readily yield “the right of way”, tail-gates, follows too closely, or fails to show common courtesy, while driving, will typically reveal a self-centered and very selfish, indivivual w/r/to relationships….my personal experience with women, over time, has proven this to be very true!
As O.J. Simpson once said to Cosell in the Monday Night Football announcer’s booth many years ago, “Howard, you have a very firm grasp of the obvious.”
In related news, the Sun came up today.
Reminds me of the difference between a BMW and a porcupine. The porcupine has the pr%!@s on the outside.

Dear Michael Ray – I bet if you are following a driver with the behaviors you described, the majority of the time it will be a MAN driving!
What no big trucks to hide your big flaws jokes? Or are we sticking with the line of thought that only female drivers are bad ones out there boys???
That’s exactly why some countries ban women from driving! Just kidding.

I find that when I follow a female driver for 15 mins I tend to get in trouble for stalking. Especially when I follow her up the driveway.
