Next time the government needs to let them go under. It is run by some of the crookedest people in the world. Yes, I said world. They undercut pricing to get business, even at a loss, unfair competition, and then have the government bail them out completely as the managers continue to take hugh bonuses and salaries. All of them should be in prison. I feel a little better now, and yes, they shold pay we the people back, but don’t count on it. I bet Obama has interest in AIG.

You are an idiot, yes I said idiot. State soem facts for undercutting pricing to get business and if it were at a loss these numbers would not be what they are.

Why are you dragging Obama into this?

FACT: AIG got bailed out in September 2008. In other words, before Obama was elected.

I wonder if all the employees that gol let-go over the past 12 months or so would agree with the results. If they are doing so well why did they fire som many people? Why was management not touoched as far as staffing reduction? K. Moor screwed up only got demoted yeet other who did nothing wrong got fired.
Is that poor management or just the same good ole boys club doing well as usual?

I think – mind you, it’s just a guess – that they got fired because they couldn’t speel.

Actually, they were fired due to a new federal program. If you hire them back later, you get a favorable tax credit for creating jobs. Companies like this know how to play the game and Obama can take credit for job creation. You know how it works. He says the unemployment rate is going down, but he is now not counting the ones who gave up and dropped out of the workforce. The fact is that we have fewer people working than in 09 and more drop out almost every week. How is this creating new jobs?

Bean Counter, why do you equate a large profit with poor management? Although I realize the results stem from some tax accounting treatment, it would seem to me that streamlining and producing a good financial result would be an indication of good management…? I’m just sayin’
