We don’t need to regulate business in America. It’s job killing. Just pay no attention to the workers we’re killing.

It is one thing for the operators of the mines to disregard the safety requirements. However, when the miners themselves ignore the regulation and the safety requirements then it’s a problem.

It’s like people who smoke: they know it’s dangerous, but they do it anyway and when they get cancer they want to blame someone else. Well if the miners aren’t wearing the equipment and they get blacklung, whose fault is that?
