Can’t comment now… I am too busy driving down the road, reading the insurance journal, selling insurance, planning my fantasy football draft, and solving world hunger… all at once.

I agree to some extent but I disagree with the common thought process toward cell phone usuage while driving. Talking on a phone (hands free od course) is no more distracting to a driver than talking to a person in the passenger seat. In fact, talking to another person in the vehicle would be more distracting to many as it would become 2 visual tasks for many who feel compelled to “look” at the other person to whom they are speaking.

In any event, everyone just needs to pay better attention to the act of driving rather than all the other misc activities. BTW, I have logged over one million incident free miles in the last 13 years.

Krenem, I admire your driving record, but you’re well above average. What about the idiots out there (it’s WAY too easy to get a license, at least in my state)?

Bottom line of this article that texting is more dangerous than phoning. Did we really need an experiment to prove this?

I personally beleive it is dangerous to Text and Drive and there are evidence to support. I have a suggestion to avoid adverse situations.
I think Cell phone should have Two Message Boxes one for regular messages and 2nd one for people to leave message when you are on the road but the 2nd message. When you are on the Road, you can switch to Box #2 where if somebody is calling while you are driving, will get a message something like this.
“Thank you for your call, right now I am on the road driving and as soon as I reach my destination I will call you back. Leave very brief message at the tone”

When did we all become so addicted to the phone?
