What the heck are they talking about? I’ll write office BOPs all day long. I’m not alone either.

They aren’t talking about BOPs. I worked for an agent that wrote BOPs all day long but absolutely refused to write the Work Comp. All too many small businesses are forced into the assigned risk program(S) because so many other agents can’t be bothered writing small accounts.

I’ll write office comp all day long too. Maybe in some states that’s an issue.

It’s not about whether we’ll write it or not! That has nothing to do with it. Here’s the point – it’s becoming a commodity (just like personal lines). The internet is making BOP insurance a simple commodity. If you’re not a consultant and a trusted advisor (you’re only selling price), the internet is delivering your `pink slip’! THAT is what this is all about!
