Great news!! I believe the state of Florida still excludes all animal liability whenever they write a home, condo or tenant liability policy.

Actually all policies do not exclude animal liability but many do. Some of the major personal lines umbrellas are now following form so if there is no underlying coverage there is no coverage!

When I made the above statement (state of Florida), I should have indicated that this applied for home business written by the Florida assigned risk pool. Sorry!!

Wish you were available in Ohio, I may have to have my dog put to sleep if I can’t find a solution by Wednesday, 5/8/13.

there are no insurances that cover dogs in Ohio from what I have found. So you have to go out side of Ohio. I just got a quote from here. I am hoping they cover in Ohio

We need this in Massachusetts! I commend you for this as I took in a mutt and now face insurance issues because he looks like a pit. It is so frustrating…just when you think you are doing ecerything right…obedience to advanced level, Canine Good Citizen, you still get penalized for having a dog, no member of the family, that looks a certain way.

F.I.D.O. does not insure a dog with more than one bite incident.
