Assuming there were no throw-ins (hidden or otherwise) and this was a true Cybersecurity bill, shutting this down is one of the more stupid things this Congress can do. In lieu of all the hacking by China, Iran, Russia, etc., we are asking for major trouble; i.e. when it DOES happen, folks will be screaming as to why/how it happened.

When it does happen it will be too late to fix. Heads in the sand.

This is what happens when the issues are over their heads of the people elected to make decisions. They don’t accept leadership, because they are concerned with setting priorities based on less critical, self-serving opinion groups.

As long as the FBI and CIA concentrate on emails between cat- fighting bimbos and their high ranking boy friends, I’ll feel safer at night.

For the US Chamber of Commerce and the senate to kill this bill is outrageous. Watch the testemony before the committee hearings on CSPAN and you’ll understand the importance of a cyber-security bill. If one of our electric grids or financial districts gets compromised then the do-nothings in congress will realize their party politics can cripple America.
