ANV Holdings BV, the Dutch-headquartered specialty insurance business and owner of Lloyd’s Syndicate 1861, announced that Sean Fitzpatrick has joined its executive team as chief operating officer of the ANV Group, as well as leading ANV’s underwriting expansion efforts in the United States.
Prior to joining ANV, Fitzpatrick served as president of Endurance Risk Solutions, overseeing the company’s U.S. retail insurance businesses. Before joining Endurance, he led The Hartford’s $3 billion middle market and specialty financial property/casualty segments and served as chief underwriting officer of Chubb Specialty Insurance. He began his insurance career with Executive Risk, where he oversaw the company’s U.S. professional indemnity lines and its international operations.
Fitzpatrick is a lawyer and has served as president of the Professional Liability Underwriting Society.
